Kat Harriman is a British citizen born in Scotland but raised elsewhere in the country. She is a graduate of Drama School, and is a budding actress, novellist, script writer and musician. Following the death of her mother, she moved to London to live with her brother Jace Harriman, and has only recently moved out.

| Thermodynamic Telekinesis - after bugging her brother Tom for a cool-sounding way to describe her powers, she settled upon this term; in essence, her ability is to cause the molecules in an object to vibrate, generating heat. The ability is most intense in close or direct contact with her skin; even a few millimetres of separation radically lessens their effect. Though initially discovering her powers as a means of causing contact burns, she has applied her artistic imagination to the ability, and uses it for various means such as causing combustion, or heating metal bars sufficiently to make them malleable enough to bend with her bare hands.
